Baxter’s Renal business provides a range of products to treat end-stage renal disease (ESRD) or irreversible kidney failure. It is a leading manufacturer of products for peritoneal dialysis (PD), a home therapy that Baxter helped commercialize in the late 1970s. Products include PD solutions and related supplies to help patients safely perform fluid exchanges, and automated PD cyclers that perform fluid exchanges for patients overnight.
