Innovations in Medical Sensors for Biomedical Electronics Applications in Healthcare

Students can refer this post to start working on their projects. Students can take ideas and start the project

Biomedical electronics research is being driven by the aging “baby-boomer” population and their medical needs. This phenomenon is spurring fast development of new biotechnologies and need for access to innovative means of medical diagnosis and treatment in preventive medicine. Subsequently, the technologies of implants and advanced wireless electronic media will help alleviate rising medical costs in today’s society and extend the average longevity with a quality life in our later years.

How to Read Long & Boring Research Papers easily?

We often find that if students haven’t done much of this sort of reading before their get to their final year getting started can be a bit of a shock. So, this post is designed to help you get started with academic literature and, just as importantly, to help you get the most out of the papers you read in the short space of time you have available (and it is a short space of time, believe me).

Remember the structure of a paper is just like the structure of your thesis

Instructions for writing the Literature Review of your Final year project

How to write a literature review for your final year thesis project

A long time ago I wrote an article on how to pass your final year thesis project, which several studentsfound helpful. In the same vein, this post deals with a particular aspect of the final year project: the literature review.Every year I see students doing projects I find students tend to ask the same questions about their literature review. Most common are:

  • How many papers should I read?
  • How long should the literature review be?
  • Should I read books, articles, or …?
  • Is it OK to reference websites such as Wikipedia?

AICTE creates havoc with Common Final year Engineering Projects Portal

All the engineering students, dont think of scraping through your final year by plagiarizing a project. The All-India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) will soon open a web portal where all students will be mandated to upload abstracts of their project.
Addressing engineering teachers and principals at the inauguration of chief innovation officer (CIO) bootcamp,AICTE chairman S S Mantha said the website, which will start functioning in a months time, will be applicable to graduate,post-graduate and doctoral fellows across the country.
Access to the website will be free.It will not only index research and create a live database but also provide an opportunity for students to promote a culture of research. There is no innovation in the current research scenario, he said, criticizing what he called the copy-paste method.
Citing the importance of industry exposure,Mantha said not only students but teachers and professors in engineering colleges too must periodically get back to the industry to remain current.CIO Bootcamp, held on the birth anniversary of engineer M Visvesvaraya, aims to unleash the innovative spirit in VTUaffiliated colleges.
