Angiography or Arteriography is a medical
imaging technique used to visualize the inside, or
lumen, of blood vessels and organs of the body,
with particular interest in the arteries, veins and
the heart chambers.
“C-Arm” is a name given to
specialized X-ray imaging
machines, due to their special
arced semi-circular design. CArms
use X-rays for imaging,
but are designed to work with
lower amounts of exposure.
