Minimum marks required to apply: Consistently good academic record with 60% (GPA 6.5/10) marks in undergraduate and post graduate examinations. For applying for Ph.D. in medical specialties, the candidate must have a post graduate qualification with minimum 60% marks (First Class) in MBBS. Individual with Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) obtained on the basis of a national level test (UGC,CSIR,ICMR,DBT) or INSPIRE only need apply and selection will be based on Interview. For any area of research under Health Science Studies, candidates will be selected on the basis of a written test and interview.
