Summer Internship Program at NASA Centers
NSBRI’s summer program provides the opportunity for undergraduate, graduate or medical students from across the country to join ongoing project activities and gain hands-on experience in space biomedical research at NASA Johnson Space Center in Houston, TX, NASA Glenn Research Center in Cleveland, OH, and NASA Ames Research Center in Moffett Field, CA.
Since 1998, 136 students representing over 70 colleges and universities have participated in the 10-15 week program. The program pays interns an hourly wage but does not cover housing or travel.

A position for a postdoctoral research fellow is available immediately in the Department of Biomedical Engineering at the University of Texas at San Antonio. Candidates with a solid background in one or more of the research areas including photoacoustic imaging, fluorescence-based or label-free biosensing, high-resolution optical imaging and spectroscopy are welcome to submit applications. Strong programming skills with Matlab and/or Labview are also desired.
