The Biomedical Engineering International Conference BIOMEIC’12 will be held from 10-11 October in Tlemcen, Algeria. The aim of BIOMEIC’12 is to provide a convivial environment to scientists, researchers and industrialists, in which they can exchange their scientific results. It offers also a convivial space and privileges discussions, meetings between researchers and industrialists to present their latest researches on recent topics in different areas of biomedical engineering.
BIOMEIC’12 encourages authors to submit papers to one of the main topics listed below, describing original work, including methods, techniques, prototypes, applications. Accepted papers will be presented at the conference by one of the authors and published in the proceedings of the conference. Acceptance will be based on quality, relevance and originality. There will be plenary sessions, oral and poster sessions.
A dozen years have passed into the new millennium and we now have the honour of inviting you all to the Annual meet of the Neurological Society of India –Kerala chapter in the year 2012(Neurocon ’12) , to be held in the complacent city of Lord Sree Padmanabha with all its splendours on Febrary11th & 12th,2012. As you have noticed in the past the Trivandrum NSI conference (Nanons) has always been in the forefront in discussing the technology as well as the problems that we are going to face in future. This year we have decided to name our rendezvous as The Interface to commemorate the advances in the field of brain machine interface which will aid in overcoming many short comings of the damaged brain and nerves with the help of a machine or computer to do the job directly.
Medical Technology extends and improves life, alleviates pain and Handicap. Incessant medical technology inovation enhance the quality and effectiveness of care. Advancements in medical technology are playing a positive role in saving lives. Adding infrastructure and medical professionals alone will not be able to solve Indians huge unmet needs in healthcare. It needs to be supported by technology. India with an exponentially growing population, demands effective healthcare facilities. Indias developing healthcare market & growing economy gives hope for a Health Revolution in the near future.
The conference should give a forum for information exchange among theoreticians, engineers, and medical people. Original papers, research results, and contributions concerning interesting technical solutions will be appreciated as well as clinical experiences and survey lectures for presentation in the following areas:
The conference will be open to contributions from related fields.
Conference Chairman:
Prof. Ivo Provaznik, Brno University of Technology
Organiser:
Department of Biomedical Engineering, Faculty of Electrical Engineering and
Computer Science, Brno University of Technology
