PGDCEM: New Course in Mangement for Biomedical Students by HLL

HLL Lifecare, a Mini Ratna public sector undertaking in collaboration with the Indira Gandhi National Open University, (IGNOU), Ltd. is poised to make a foray into the arena of healthcare education. Two new courses in Clinical Engineering and Management were formally launched with the releasing of the prospectus to kick off the admissions, by Ghulam Nabi Azad, Union Minister for Health and Family Welfare in Delhi. HLL intends to train aspiring managers by launching new courses.

Two courses, Post Graduate Diploma Course in Clinical Engineering and Management (PGDCEM) and Post Diploma Course in Clinical Engineering and Management (PDCEM) will commence from January 2012 at the new wing named HLL Academy.

In a recent news update , I got to know about something interesting which was not there a year before. This is all because of HLL life care of thiruvanthpuram.

HLL lifecare has joined hands with IGNOU to launch two courses for diploma holders as well as graduates in Biomedical Engineering discipline. It is a golden opportunity for those students who wish to modulate their career in the clinical engineering field in & out of the industry.
There have been a lot of discussion around regarding jobs and placements being not upto the mark in the various Biomedical Engineering department in the different engineering colleges in the country.

International Clinical Engineering Workshop in INDIA (February 20 – 25, 2011) @ College of Engineering, Pune, India(MUST FOR BIOMEDICAL STUDENTS)

College of Engineering (COEP), Pune and Sree Chitra Tirunal Institute for Medical Sciences and Technology (SCTIMST), Thiruvananthapuram, are jointly organising an International Clinical Engineering Workshop (ICEW-India, 2011) in February, 2011 (20th to 25th) in Pune. This is the second of the series of Workshops launched in Thiruvananthapuram in October 2009 with the first Indo-US Advanced Clinical Engineering Workshop (ACEW-India, 2009) .
