ABOUT THE WORKSHOP
One of the first of its kind organized by the department, this symposium intends to provide the budding engineers of today a distinct platform to present their research, as well as project work. This event will comprise of discussions by distinguished Industry and Medical personnel with students to help them attain awareness of common practices among doctors as well as get an opportunity to feel the pulse of the industry.

ELIGIBILITY
Students pursuing BE / B Tech / M Tech / MS from Medical Electronics/Biomedical/ BioInstrumentation/Medical Instrumentation and related streams.

Registration Fees: Rs.300/- Registration fees should be paid as demand draft in favor of “HOD, Medical Electronics, BMSCE” –Payable at Bangalore.
TOPICS
The topics of the paper presentation submitted by the participants would be further sub divided into three main categories according to its application in the Biomedical Field.
These mainly being Image processing Domain, Signal Processing Domain, Biomedical Hardware domain.

ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT OF MEDICAL ELECTRONICS
The college established the branch of Medical Electronics in 1992 to expand its academic horizon in the fast growing field of healthcare technologies. Having batch strength of around thirty and with an experienced and well qualified faculty, the college has laid its focus to impart synergistic education in the field of medical electronics and life sciences to translate it into real world applications. The institution has thus been able to contribute a large pool of talented biomedical engineers into the industry.
