The Product Specialist Karnataka would be responsible for selling PIKA Medical equipment and services in a defined geographic market. The role is responsible for new account development and/or expanding existing accounts within established geographic territory as well as maintaining customer relationships with the accounts in their established geographic territory.
Essential responsibilities
SALES & AFTER SALES
Generating, qualifying and converting new leads into customers, in addition to growing & maintaining the existing customer base.
Generating proposals, preparing sales quotations, planning
customer meetings, and demonstrating equipment capabilities on assigned medical products in assigned territory
Sales negotiations & deal closure at the customer, interfacing with all the key business influencers such as direct users of the products as well as department heads.
Coordinate before/after sale activities related to order processing, deliveries, installation, payments.
Maintaining satisfactory aftersale relationships and development of longterm customer relationships coupled with the ability to identify and capitalize on opportunities that immediately satisfy customer needs.
BUSINESS INTELLIGENCE
Generate, record, and maintain customer profiles, including keeping track of key decision makers.
Develop & continuously maintain a high level of product knowledge of PIKAs product portfolio as well as competitive products
Providing leadership in market analysis and development/execution of strategies and action plans to drive product sales
SERVICING
To provide basic troubleshooting, loaner replacements to customers
Tracking service deliveries from start to completion
Knowledge of the Healthcare industry a must
0-2 years of relevant experience
Technical understanding of modalities
Excellent interpersonal skills, with ability to work independently as well as in a team
Ability to energize, develop and build rapport at all levels within
the organization.
Selfmotivated and result oriented
Strong written & verbal communication skills. Fluent in English
Willingness to travel with occasional overnight stay depending on geography and business needs as well as sales meetings and trade shows.
Negotiating & Selling skills required
