No TA/DA will be provided for attending the interview. The qualifying candidates are expected to start working within 1–2 weeks from the selection date.
Position: Junior Research Fellow.
Pay: Rs. 15,000 per month for 1st and 2nd year.
Age: Below 30 years.
Duration: Two years.
Project Title: Voice activated solar powered wheel chair for cerebral palsy/quadriplegia/elderly/physically challenged.
Responsibilities: Designing of five prototypes of wheel chair and demonstrating the project to the ALIMCO (Artificial Limbs Manufacturing Corporation of India – A Govt. of India Undertaking) located at Kanpur for field trials. Book keeping and maintenance of stocks and consumables related to the project.
Essential Qualifications: M.E. or B.E. (preferably Biomedical/Electrical/Mechanical/Applied Electronics) from a recognized university/institute with a consistent first class academic record above 60% and relevant research experience as evidenced from thesis/dissertation carried out in a reputed scientific institution. (Additional preference: Hindi speaking skill).
