Computational neuroscience (CNS) is a frontier area, challenging scientists from computing, biosciences and engineering. This is a first of its kind workshop in North- Eastern India and the area needs much development in the country. Faculty of NEHU, the pioneering central university (since 1973) in the region, has teamed with similar faculty of premier institutions in the area, as IIT-Guwahati, Assam Central University, Tezpur University and North-East Indira Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences (NEIGRIHMS)-Shillong, to marshal this workshop as they have rich and relevant expertise. The Workshop aims to provide educational/research exposure to young scientists from multidisciplinary fields in this domain.
The following posts on contract basis for six months extendable as per Haryana Govt. Rules or till the regular candidate joins, are proposed to be filled on DC rates (Mewat) for Shaheed Hasan Khan Mewati, Govt. Medical College, Nalhar (Mewat).
Biomedical Engineers (2) i. B.Tech in Bio-Medical Engineering / Electronics &Communication/ Electronics & Instrumentation from any recognized Institute/University approved by UGC or AICTE with minimum 55% marks in aggregate in all semesters. ii. Post qualification experience of two years. Preference will be given to a person having experience in a Govt. institute / medical college.
Applications are invited from eligible candidates for filling up the following posts under National Health Mission, Odisha on contractual basis for a period of 11 months with monthly remuneration as noted against each and subject to renewal as per Society norms basing on the performance and subsistence of the programme. The resource persons for the workshop will be from TI, Cranes, Infosys, Bosch and other institutes. The workshop consists of lectures and hands on sessions on ASLK Kit, DSP Kit and MSP430 Kit.
