1. Design professionals for Audio and Language Technology
The candidate will be responsible for providing high-end technology solutions and generating innovative patents in the field of audio and language processing applied to smart consumer electronics and electrical appliances. The group covers the technologies and applications relating to the analysis and synthesis, enhancement, coding and recognition of audio, music, speech and language.

8. Essential Qualifications and experience : B.E/B.Tech (Biotechnology/Biomedical/Mechanical/Metallurgy & Materials/ Chemical/ Ceramic /Civil /Production/ Electrical) with minimum 60% marks or equivalent with a valid GATE score.
(or) M.Sc. in (Materials Science/ Physics/ Chemistry/ Biotechnology/Life sciences) with minimum 60 % marks with NET/GATE/DBT score.
9. Desirable Qualifications/
Experiences : M.E/M.Tech with minimum 60% marks or equivalent Previous research experience is preferred.
10. Accommodation : Bachelor accommodation in the Institute may be provided subject to availability.
ME/ M.Tech or equivalent degree with at least 60% marks OR B.Tech / BE with at least 60% marks and 2 yrs research experience OR MBBS or equivalent degree with 60% marks and 1 year of research experience OR M.Sc. /BE/B.Tech with at least 55% marks and 2 years of research of relevant work experience Desirable qualification· Prior experience with signal processing techniques and / or and imaging analysis techniques will be given preference. Research background in the design and statistical analysis of functional brain imaging experiments.· Experience with SPM, FSL UNIX / LINUX / and / or programming skills (MATLAB, C++)
