The Medical Research Foundation, Sankara Nethralaya conducts a one month Hands-on Summer Training Programme in biomedical laboratory sciences for M.Sc. postgraduate students of Arts & Science College / Medical Colleges every academic year during the months of May – June. This Programme consists of Practical demonstration, relevant lectures and “Hands on” training to the participants.

The principle objective of the department in CMC, kochi is to support the management of medical
equipments in the hospital, promote academic activities and research in the field of biomedical engineering.
Minimum academic requirements for applying:
Students who have secured not less than 80% in Maths and Science subjects in their 10th
and 12th or equivalent examinations and not less than first class in graduation and post graduation ( if applicable).
