MEDITECH is the National Level Technical Symposium being organized by the Department of Biomedical engineering of the Osmania university on 14th & 15th March 2014, this Symposium is an event presenting an interdisciplinary forum of lectures, it gives a platform for exploring and analyzing the ideas and solutions while outlining the advances in medical technology. MEDITECH’14 particularly aims at dissolving the boundaries between Engineering and Medicine,thereby emphasizing on the exchange of knowledge and application on the recent upgradation of healthcare industry through an interdisciplinary forum of themed discussions ,paper and poster presentation sessions ,module presentations, product demonstrations and informative lectures.
Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI) invites applications for faculty positions at all levels in the Biomedical Engineering (BME) Department (www.wpi.edu/+BME). The Department delivers a growing undergraduate BME program with approximately 350 students. Over 60 graduate students enrolled in the Biomedical Engineering graduate program are pursuing MS, ME and PhD degrees. The department is conducting externally-funded research programs in the following areas: cellular and tissue engineering, biomechanics, biomaterials, bioinstrumentation, biosignal processing and physiological systems modeling.
The day-long event, sponsored by Merrimack Pharmaceuticals, will be a forum to stimulate new ways of thinking about and addressing today’s greatest healthcare challenges, said MIT officials. The event will happen at MIT’s Kresge Auditorium.
