Computational neuroscience (CNS) is a frontier area, challenging scientists from computing, biosciences and engineering. This is a first of its kind workshop in North- Eastern India and the area needs much development in the country. Faculty of NEHU, the pioneering central university (since 1973) in the region, has teamed with similar faculty of premier institutions in the area, as IIT-Guwahati, Assam Central University, Tezpur University and North-East Indira Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences (NEIGRIHMS)-Shillong, to marshal this workshop as they have rich and relevant expertise. The Workshop aims to provide educational/research exposure to young scientists from multidisciplinary fields in this domain.

Research background in the design and statistical analysis of functional brain imaging experiments.· Experience with SPM, FSL UNIX / LINUX / and / or programming skills (MATLAB, C++)
