In WHO we are searching for Biomedical Engineering ( or related fields, medical engineer, clinical engineer,… )
Students, candidates for internship program, this can be for a WHO country office, a Regional office (Copenhagen, Brazzaville, Cairo, Manila, New Delhi or Washington) or headquarters ( Geneva, Switzerland).
Candidates should be more than 21 years, after 3rd year in University, and preferably some clinical experience if possible. We also welcome professors in sabbatical year or volunteers.

1. Design a Blind Stick285 million people are visually impaired worldwide according to WHO statistics. A huge chunk of this people lives in the developing world. Scientists and engineers all over the world are going beyond the boundaries of their disciplines to innovate and come up with solutions for addressing the needs of the visually impaired people. The challenge is to design a path navigating stick to guide the visually impaired patients.
Our company head office is in West Mambalam, Chennai. Ours is a medical equipment marketing company and we are indulged solely in sales of leading equipment manufacturers like Schiller, Phillips, Covidien, etc..
Job profile: 1. Learn and acquire complete knowledge about Unique Selling Point and technical aspects of the equipment.
2. Demonstration of the equipment (if customer is in need of it)
3. Sales
4. Installation of the equipment.
This is the best place to excel both in sales and technical skills.
