Biomedical Engineering is a fascinating and inherently multidisciplinary field involving the application of engineering techniques that extend a helping hand to physicians in healthcare.SYNAPSIS’14 intertwines the world of machines with the thread of life in the palms of engineering. It is designed to reduce the gap between technology and medicine to the maximum level and take technological advancements to the public. National symposium, Workshops for doctors and engineers, Maintenance camp, Campus health and Cultural events are incorporated in the Program. The symposium and workshops will be conducted by academic and technical experts in the field.

MEDICAL EQUIPMENT MAINTENANCE WORKSHOP
As a part of an effort in addressing concerns and social commitments, we are organizing a medical equipment maintenance workshop parallel to the main events. Camp is conducted by the department of Electronics and Biomedical engineering in collaboration with professional organizations / experts in the field. Only those with prior registration can attend the camp.

Registration will be open from 25th January onwards. The Registration is limited for the workshop, on first come first served basis.

The Department of Electronics and Biomedical Engineering was started in the year 2007, with qualified and experienced faculty members and well equipped laboratories. BLAZE Biomedical League for Advancement to Zenith Excellence), the core association of the department, was launched in the year 2009, and lead large number of technical and social programmes. The organization aims to link the requirements of the medical field with the advanced engineering technologies. Having organized several camps, BLAZE looks forward to open new vistas of opportunities for budding biomedical engineers.
