With a view to encourage analog system design at undergraduate level, Texas Instruments announces the Analog Design Contest for Indian Universities for the year 2011.  Up to 50 universities will be selected from India for participation in the contest, which will take place in two phases. In the first phase, teams from within each university/ college compete for a $500 prize (to be split among team members).  The winning team from each university/ college will then be entered in the second phase, called the Engibous Prize Contest.  This contest has a first-place prize of $10,000 second place $5,000 and third place $2,500 to be split among members of winning teams.

Researchers and Senior Researchers in P&G are responsible for performing a wide variety of complex tasks that involve conducting or directing experiments, independently evaluating and summarizing data and communicating results both orally and in writing to senior R&D colleagues. Such tasks are aimed at inventing, reapplying, developing and delivering break through product, process, raw material, and packaging technologies that provide delightful and winning brand experiences to consumers. R&D Researchers/ Sr. Researchers work with multi disciplinary and highly professional teams across the Company and contribute to the planning and execution of a broad range of technical tasks and propose and test their own observations and theories. –          This job will require periodic travel within India, and some travel to other P&G technical centres in Asia.
