Job Description	Broad Function<br /> 1)Perform day to day maintenance of Biomedical equipments and minimize down time.<br /> 2)To perform preventive maintenance schedule of the equipments according to the preventive maintenance calendar.<br /> 3)To manage inventory.<br /> 4)To conduct end-user training</p> <p>Principal Responsibilities<br /> Execution of orders of H.O.D.<br /> 1)To help in maintaining the ISO quality standards and implement it.<br /> 2)Coordinate with the user departments to execute the set goals and objectives.<br /> 3)Conduct End User Training.<br /> 4)Communicate with the senior management in clear and coherent manner in-order to help in executing goals.<br /> 5)To respond and attend to break down calls so as to minimize the downtime.<br /> 6)To follow up with vendors for pending calls in case of equipment under contract or under warranty.<br /> 7)Receiving external material/spares according to the formal procedure.<br /> 8)Initiating purchase requisition of spares and indenting material from the stores.</p> <p>Asset Management<br /> 1)To help in maintaining of list of equipments in each department.<br /> 2)To carry out the commissioning and tagging of all the incoming equipments.<br /> 3)Carry out the warranty management as per the purchase agreement.<br /> 4)Conducts daily visits to the user areas and implement corrective maintenance procedure.</p> <p>Risk & Safety Management<br /> 1)Report to HOD and document all the equipment related incidents.<br /> 2)Help to ensure compliance of unit/dept and hospital policies and procedures.</p> <p>Spare parts and minimum stock.<br /> 1)Maintain minimum stock of spare parts for emergency use.<br /> 2)To order PPM parts well in advance before the due date in order to carry out the PPM on scheduled time.<br /> 3)Help in cost controlling and maintaining quality of spare parts.</p> <p>Fiscal Management<br /> 1)To initiate insurance claims and carry out the necessary documentation.
Experience	At least 3-5 years experience in hospital/manufacturer or with suppliers of medical equipments
Qualifications	Degree in biomedical engineering/electronics from a recognized university. / Attended manufacturing training would be an added advantage.
