The post of “Bio-Medical Engineering Expert” is a mid-level advisory post. S/he will work in close co-ordination with the Senior PPP Advisor and the legal expert posted in the PPP Cell and BTAST for implementation of SWASTH Programme
DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES
The duties and responsibilities of the Bio-Medical Engineering Expert will include, but not be restricted to:
Education:(UG – Any Graduate – Any Specialization, Graduation Not Required) AND (PG – Any PG Course – Any Specialization, Post Graduation Not Required)

Analysis and diagnosis of problems related to medical equipments. To perform calibration of different medical equipements as per the standard of the specific equipment manual.
Education:(UG – Diploma – Any Specialization, Other Specialization, B.Tech/B.E. – Any Specialization, Biomedical) AND (PG – Post Graduation Not Required)
Installation, servicing, coordination with company engineers, biomedical store.Installation Process-From Inventory making, Instrument installation(Monitors, Ventilators, Defibrillators, Anesthesia Machine, Ultrasound, CR system with Camera, C-Arm, OT light, OT Table, Central Monitoring Station, Pulse Oxymeter, Syringe Pump, Medical Gas Connection, Autoclave, Wall Suction and Flow meter ,Accuchek) and giving Demo, Handling these instruments.Servicing of Monitors, Ventilators, Defibrillators, Anaesthesia Machine, C R system, Hospital Beds, Blood Gas Analysers, Pulse Ox meter, OT light, Syringe Pump.
Coordination with company engineers-lodging complaints, supervising installation and Acting as a bridge between them and hospital authorities.

Maintaining written and software record of all hospital instruments according to Hospital authorities in HIS(Hospital Information System)
* Coordinating with doctors and health care professional in planning, designing, development, acquiring and advanced technology implementations and functioning of Bio-Medical equipment.
* Conducting case study on Engineering based faults analysis, energy conservation.
* Coordinating with company servicing engineers in installation, servicing and negotiating in acquiring new technology and equipments.
* Implementing and adhering to all norms and standards of National and International Organization on Clinical engineering.
* Repairing, servicing, trouble shooting of all hospitals based equipments and taking care of all the engineering aspects of hospital.
