NATIONAL CONFERENCE ON ENTITLEMENT OF HEALTHCARE : CHALLENGES IN INDIAN SCENARIO

   Medical Technology extends and improves life, alleviates pain and Handicap. Incessant medical technology inovation enhance the quality and effectiveness of care. Advancements in medical technology are playing a positive role in saving lives. Adding infrastructure and medical professionals alone will not be able to solve Indians huge unmet needs in healthcare. It needs to be supported by technology. India with an exponentially growing population, demands effective healthcare facilities. Indias developing healthcare market & growing economy gives hope for a Health Revolution in the near future.

  • ?01.30 pm – 02.45 pm : Talk on “ Telemedicine for bringing down the cost of treatment for remote and rural area “ by Mr. M.R.Binumon, Director, R&D International Dept., Gen-Tech Biomedicals; YEMMAR Technologies.

DEBATE: MEDICAL TECHNOLOGY AND PATIENT SAFETY (3.00-4.30 PM)

      Medical Technology is growing beyond our imagination. India, with her good health care infrastructure, population rise and growing economy is rising to better heights. But have we grown enough to ensure good health to all our citizens? Do we have enough research in the field of medical technology? Another important question to be raised is regarding the patient safety. How safe are our hospitals today? These are all controversial questions indeed. To answer all these challenging questions, We organize a debate in the topic “Medical technology & Patient Safety”
