Consolidated Compensation: Upto Rs. 12,000/-p.m. (depending on qualification and experience)

Qualifications & Experience : First class (or equivalent grade point) B. Tech (with two years in culture of animal cells / biomaterials/ bioactivity assays/ molecular biology techniques) or M. Tech in Biotechnology / Chemical Engineering / Biomedical Engineering.

Relevant Experience : Candidate should send prior intimation with their CV to the email ID kundu hijli.iitkgp.ernet.in by 17.09.2013 with a subject heading ‘Walk in interview for RA-ISB’. No query will be entertained regarding relaxation of the minimum eligibility criterion and candidate not meeting the criterion will not be allowed to appear before the interview board.

About the internship: – The selected students would work with IIT Madras faculty on mini-projects during the course of the internship.

 

Who can apply: – The candidates pursuing third year of B.E./B.Tech./B.Sc. (Engg)/ Integrated M.E/M.Tech. programme, first year of ME/M.Tech/M.Sc./M.A, MBA with outstanding academic background in terms of high ranks in university examinations are encouraged to apply.

 

Note: – IIT students are not eligible to apply.

Procedure for doing Project work in IIT Bombay
(Applicable only to Indian nationals studying in India. Foreign nationals as well as Indian nationals studying abroad, should refer to the admission procedure provided at:

1. The student himself/herself has to find a Supervisor in IIT Bombay according to his/her stream
and the Supervisor’s consent to supervise his/her project work is to be sought.
2. After the Supervisor agrees to supervise his/her project work, he/she can get the form from the
Academic Office/download from the IIT Website. (www.iitb.ac.in)
3. The duly filled application form signed by the student, Principal/Director of the College, Guide
& Head of the Department, IIT Bombay is to be submitted to the Academic Office alongwith
the recommendation letter from his/her College Principal/Director and two recent photographs.
4. On receipt of the form, his/her request will be processed further for obtaining approval of the
Competent Authority. After approval, he/she will be informed to make appropriate payment to
the Cash Section, IIT Bombay at the rates given below :
i) Summer training (8 weeks) Rs. 6,000/
